For SMD circuits
For highly professional work with electronic soldering components and SMD circuits, where parts are often very expensive, we recommend hot-air “rework” systems with temperature profiles. They allow flawless soldering and desoldering with a wide variety of nozzles (called focus hoods) of all shapes and sizes that serve for both operations.
Tweezers or thermal tweezers. A new concept in handling surface-mount components that is simple, efficient and economical. The soldering iron has two ceramic heating elements with fast heat-up and recovery times, joined in a spring-loaded tweezer, with interchangeable tips for handling different types of SMD components.
The heaters offer a resistance of 100 MW to protect the most sensitive components from AC leakage. Power is 25W x 2 at 125 VAC. Complete set of tip accessories. Other tip types, up to 30 mm wide, are sold as accessories. Integrated SMD component soldering and desoldering iron, complete with stand and tip-cleaning sponge.
Mechanical arm station:
Hot-air station with extendable mechanical arm. For extensive and/or critical soldering jobs, the sophisticated technology delivers top performance with a powerful (and quiet) diaphragm vacuum pump of more than 60 cm/Hg that needs no maintenance and pumps when a trigger on the desoldering handle is activated. A mechanical arm holds the air unit and leaves your hands free.
The heating element allows very short heat-up and recovery times, while electronic temperature control eliminates the need to change tips, saving time. Power is 24 VAC through an isolation transformer, and regulation is by a zero-voltage circuit. Both features suppress voltage spikes and isolate the unit from the mains. Tip leakage is 0.4 mV.
